A supermassive black hole exists in NGC 4889, the brightest galaxy in the Coma Cluster. This artwork has been featured on the front page of the New York Times and other news media. Gemini Observatory/AURA illustration by Lynette Cook.

Trained as a scientific illustrator, Lynette Cook worked with researchers and science educators at the forefront of scientific discoveries.
